It was a busy summer for the Clearly Cloud development team! We’ve been focusing on making sure the platform maintains “rock solid” reliability and improving things behind the scenes. The team’s efforts have also yielded lots of feature improvements and new options–and we’re excited to share some of them with you now!
We’ve got plenty more coming, as well as some great new features. As always, please keep the feature requests and suggestions coming!
Notable Additions & Improvements
Call Panel
Loading speeds and overall performance have been improved. We’ve also added support for “wake lock”, which keeps your computer from unexpectedly going to sleep while on calls. Additionally, we’ve improved controls for authorized users’ management of system Announcements.
Clearly Anywhere
We’ve optimized how parking, voicemail, and other features display within the mobile environment to make your experience better. Navigation to additional features like these via the ‘Quick Dial’ button has been improved, and you will be auto-navigated to the item you mark as favorite.
Live Audio Streams for Music on Hold
There’s now support for adding an Internet radio stream or third-party source for your on-hold music! Learn more here.
Other Improvements & Bug Fixes
- Improved Welcome Emails – We’ve improved new user welcome emails, making it easier for users to get started with Clearly Cloud.
- Call History now includes an “Answered By” column, allowing you to see which agent answered queue calls.
- Agent Pause/Unpause feature code logic has been improved and documentation for those features in the UI has been improved.
- STUN server settings can be customized at the system level or within Call Panel to help work through any home user audio issues.
- Clearly Anywhere – Announcement recording issues resolved.
- Call Panel issues with Follow Me display and Call History have been corrected.
- MWI reliability improvements for scenarios where phones were power-cycled or some Call Panel operations cleared messages.
- Time Condition exceptions logic improved to handle certain cases where exceptions were being ignored.
- BLF issues resolved with time conditions, call forwarding, do-not-disturb, and other feature code toggles.
